Our Leader, Cllr Peray Ahmet, has joined Citizens Advice Haringey, Disability Action Haringey and Mind in Haringey to write to the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions to ask her to withdraw the welfare reform proposals in their current form and carry out proper consultation and co-production with disabled people and their carers.

Successive Conservative governments have left our economy and public services in a state of near-collapse. As we rebuild our country, we must protect and prioritise our most marginalised communities, as well as already overstretched council services.
