Alexandra Park

AJ Egemonye

As long-time residents of Alexandra Park, this community means the world to me and my two boys. At work, I stand up to developers. As London changes and high rises shoot up, it’s vital that developers give back to the communities they profit from. I know Haringey Labour shares my values. Their genuine connection to our local area means action on local issues like traffic, fly tipping and graffiti. I’d be honoured to represent you. I’ll listen and ensure that the council responds to our community’s issues. Together, let’s build a safer, cleaner and fairer Alexandra Park.

Melanie Gingell

As a former legal aid lawyer, a lecturer at London South Bank University and a community organiser in Haringey, I recognise the difficulties of juggling family, work and political hope for something better. I fight for everyone who struggles; I want the old, the young, those who are busy and those who are lonely to thrive. Everyone counts. Disrepair, ASB, and protecting and enhancing our green spaces are our main focusses; I’ll bring years of experience, including two decades in crime and family law, to solving our communities’ issues.

Bounds Green

Cllr Emily Arkell

It’s been an honour to represent Bounds Green since 2022. I know our area’s challenges and strengths. I’m standing again to continue championing our residents, schools, and local businesses. Congestion and road safety at Bounds Green junction remain urgent. I’ve successfully campaigned for safer crossings and better traffic management, and I’m committed to improving parks, supporting local businesses, and tackling antisocial behaviour, litter, and fly-tipping. Bounds Green deserves visible councillors who get results. With Andrea, I’ll continue delivering a fairer, greener, and safer community.

Andrea Hodgson

My priority is creating opportunity and fairness for every resident. I’ve lived next door in Alexandra Park for 30 years and love our community. Locally, I’ve been on a neighbourhood ward panel and worked as a school governor and teacher. I will take the experience these roles gave me in representing my community to tackle local issues alongside Cllr Emily Arkell. As a councillor, I’ll maintain improvements at Bounds Green station’s junction and support Myddleton Road market. We’ll take antisocial behaviour and fly-tipping seriously and together we’ll create a greener Finsbury Gardens.

Bruce Castle

Cllr Ibrahim Ali

It’s been an honour to be your Councillor for the last four years. I’m a local dad, and I volunteer with many fantastic Bruce Castle groups. I’m re-standing as I love our corner of Tottenham, our green spaces, unique heritage buildings and community spirit, and want to continue to be your voice on the council. I’ve led on many local campaigns, from identifying and securing sites for new council homes, to the largest street tree planting in a generation. Together with Haringey Labour, we’ve introduced new toilets at White Hart Lane Station, protected our local library opening hours, and secured record funding for Bruce Castle Park, Playground and Museum.

Cllr Sue Jameson

I’ve raised my family in Tottenham for over 25 years whilst working in the borough, teaching and supporting SEND young people and children. As Councillor, I’ve worked tirelessly on housing and with Haringey’s rivers forum. As Mayor of Haringey from May 2024-2025, I had the pleasure of being invited to hundreds of community group events. I’m proud that many were within the ward, namely Bruce Castle and The Trampery. Our Labour council has excellent, courageous leadership - pioneering initiatives to tackle the climate crisis and structural inequality. I’d love to continue working with them to make Haringey an even better place.

Duygu Toguz

I feel inseparable to our local community, which has been home to me and my family for over 10 years. Over the years, I have driven local Labour Party initiatives to improve social housing, enhance green spaces, and make our streets safer for everyone. I am a proud Unison member and will serve our community with care and enthusiasm. I’m also passionate about renewable energy and dedicated to promoting a sustainable environment. I would treasure the opportunity to work with you all to make Bruce Castle an even more wonderful place to live, work, and visit.

Crouch End

Niall Adams

I work closely with Lester and Cressida to support our Crouch End. Through my work for a London MP I ensure constituent’s views are heard, acted on and change is realised. From the reopening of Hornsey Town Hall, to taking back control of Park Road leisure centre, Haringey Labour takes radical action to win for residents. We’ve got a successful, ambitious social housing programme. We invest in green spaces with new trees across Crouch End and have cracked down on ASB and crime. I love our creative community and its independent businesses; it would be a privilege to represent them.

Cllr Lester Buxton

Crouch End is where I grew up, went to school, and now where my husband and I live. Parallel to my work as a project manager at a tech company, I have worked with Cressida to improve Crouch End since 2022; it is a real privilege to be your councillor. We prioritised the opening of the Town Hall which has since been done with no corners cut. We brought Park Road Pools back under council control after hearing resident’s concerns. We’ve improved our Parks for our community. I’d love to continue building on Haringey Labour’s track record of success.

Cllr Cressida Johnson

I’m a long-term local resident deeply rooted in the community. My children were born here and attend our schools. I run a large Crouch End Facebook group and I’m a local charity’s trustee. A proud Labour woman, I’ve always been involved in politics, as a community activist, and as your Labour Councillor. I’m also a life‑long public servant. My background is in child mental health nursing and counselling. I bring those skillls to my role as a local politician. I listen. I act. I care deeply about social justice.

Fortis Green

Michael Brookes

Having lived in Fortis Green for many years, I’m standing as a Labour candidate as I care about our neighbourhood and want to make it an even better place to live. Politics should focus on listening to residents to understand local issues to get them sorted. I’ll focus on everyday issues like street safety, schools, transport, housing, and keeping public spaces well looked after. I’d be a councillor who is approachable, reliable, and visible. I will be a strong voice for Fortis Green on Haringey Council, standing with Labour and working for the people who live here.

David Kahn

I’ve lived in Muswell Hill and Fortis Green for 28 years and I’m proud to have participated in and contributed to the civic life of our community. I’ve worked in London as an architect for 30 years, and I was a Fortismere School Governor for 8 years. I’m committed to community programmes, including the MH Synagogue welfare programmes and the MH Foodbank. I fully support Haringey Labour Council’s aims to be fairer, greener and welcoming to all. I know I can step up, serve and be a strong voice for Fortis Green, helping residents to improve their lives and well-being.

Daniela Parry

I’m proud to stand, having lived locally for 25 years. As a project manager professionally and a community activist, our standard of living and how we care for and educate our children are my priorities. I will work hard to ensure residents are really listened to. Haringey’s Labour Council is already making real change, reducing crime and building better infrastructure. Our Children’s Services and SEND are rated ‘Outstanding’, and 98% of schools are ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding. But there’s always more to do. Fortis Green deserves a visible voice that fights for you. Together, we’ll build a greener and safer Fortis Green.

Harringay

Cllr Anna Abela

Four years ago, you trusted me to serve Harringay Ward. I have never taken that responsibility lightly. I fought plans to scrap daily parking permits, opposed 24/7 gambling shops on Green Lanes, secured new road safety measures on Allison and Endymion Roads, and worked with the police to tackle intimidating behaviour on Falkland Road. I believe every child deserves the best start in life. I’ve worked with the Mayor of London to deliver local free school meals, and serve as the Council’s governor in a federation of Haringey nursery schools.

Olly Bennathan

I have a proven track record of achieving positive change through politics. I’ve volunteered with Amnesty International, a Kurdish human rights campaign, and with Holocaust survivors’ descendants. At Haringey Council, I worked on our successful bid for Borough of Culture 2027, secured safety improvements to Finsbury Park, and shaped policy that empowers community organisations to provide high quality activities and support for all of our communities. I’m proud to stand with Haringey Labour’s committed councillors who fight for our communities.

Cllr Zena Brabazon

It’s been an honour representing Harringay’s diverse and strong community for nine years. As cabinet member, I’ve secured investment in our schools and improvements across children’s services. Listening to residents is vital, but so is action. I’ve challenged controversial planning and licensing, and I work with police and council officers to tackle drug dealing, fly‑tipping and other ASB which affect residents’ quality of life every day. I’m also proud we’ve secured funding to repave roads on the Ladder and install bike hangars. I’d love to keep fighting for Harringay as your local Labour Councillor.

Hermitage & Gardens

Millie Cartwright

I’m standing because Hermitage and Gardens deserves strong, local representation and a fairer, greener and more secure future. I work in energy policy, fighting to lower bills and help families access clean, affordable heating. The cost of living crisis and the climate crisis must be tackled together, with practical solutions that make life better now. I want more warm homes, safer and cleaner streets, thriving small businesses and properly funded public services in Hermitage and Gardens. I’ll stand up for renters and push for more genuinely affordable housing. Labour values guide me: fairness, solidarity and opportunity.

Edward Lewis-Smith

Living close by on the Harringay Ladder, I know the key local issues - from housing problems, crime and flytipping, to green spaces and transport. Our Haringey Labour Council is tackling these issues and more, putting democratic socialism into action - building over a 1000 council homes, investing in our parks, transforming Haringey Children’s Services, and cutting crime with new neighbourhood patrols. I work in clean energy research and I’m a governor at a local secondary school. I know how to prioritise when resources are tight - but I will always be ambitious for our part of Haringey borough. I’d be honoured to have your vote.

Highgate

Sean Smyth

As a Haringey resident, I’m proud to live in a borough with a Labour council that stands up for renters like me, tackling dodgy landlords and building thousands of council homes. I’m a proud socialist and trade unionist, values shaped by growing up under a Labour government. I want every child in Highgate to benefit from the opportunities I did twenty years ago. In Highgate we’re lucky to have fantastic green spaces, great public transport links. David, Sami and I will be part of a Labour council that invests in our parks, tackles ASB and works with the Labour government to fix our NHS.

David Talbot

It’s a privilege to stand for Highgate. I’ve lived on Milton Road, and the local area has been home for over 10 years. I’m raising my family here; from enjoying Highgate Woods, the creativity and culture of Jacksons Lane, the historic High Street, to the deep sense of community. Strong Labour representation is vital; supporting the most vulnerable, preserving green spaces and building a thriving Highgate with strong local public services to enhance lives. If elected, I’m commited to work constructively for all our community with a clear understanding of Highgate’s priorities.

Hornsey

Cllr Dana Carlin

I’ve lived in Hornsey since 1994. My boys went to brilliant local schools and I’ve been involved in our community since we moved here. It’s been an honour to be your councillor for 8 years, winning locally again and again for our residents, our ward and our borough. During the pandemic, we worked with you to set up the Hornsey foodbank. It’s a privilege to help with everything; from parking to planning, housing and ASB. We’ve revitalised the High Street, invested in Priory Park, and brought new council homes to Hornsey. But there’s still more to do, and I’d be grateful for your support on 7 May.

Cllr Adam Small

Since you elected me as your Councillor, it’s been a privilege to give back to the people that make Hornsey so special. I’ve stood alongside residents in difficult moments, taken firm action on ASB on Hornsey High Street, and fought for safer, cleaner streets. As Haringey Labour, we’ve secured huge investment for our schools and Priory Park, built new council homes, introduced School Streets, 20mph zones, upgraded lighting and roads, and backed local jobs. I’m determined to keep up that progress, to make public services a helping hand, and to write Hornsey’s next chapter, together.

Cllr Elin Weston

Representing Hornsey since 2014, I’m proud to know and be part of our diverse, caring community. As mum to a small boy, I know how important it is that our schools offer a fantastic education to Hornsey’s children and young people. And I’m delighted we’ve improved Priory Park with new play equipment and brought new council homes to our ward. But I also know that challenges remain. I’d love to keep working with you to build a fairer, stronger community: building more and better homes, maintaining our parks and libraries, and ensure residents are well-supported.

Muswell Hill

Cllr Cathy Brennan

I love Muswell Hill. My family enjoys its atmosphere, shops, green spaces and school that my daughter attended. I was a local piano teacher for Haringey Music Service. I’m a member of the Labour Party because it represents my beliefs in social justice and equality. As Councillor, I attend as many community events and activities as I can. I strive to make living in the local community a better experience. I’ve successfully fought to restart the local youth club, secured longer opening hours for Muswell Hill Library, helped save the Rookfield Estate tennis courts from an overseas developer and got the hostels on Queens’ Avenue on the Council’s Major Works refurbishment programme.

Cllr Sean O'Donovan

Politics to me is taking actions to improve lives. A process that starts here in Muswell Hill, I want to provide opportunities for the younger generation, struggling families and older residents who live on their own. Ensuring every voice is heard and every problem addressed is my top priority. I’m proud to act locally, having worked closely with councillor Cathy Brennan and serving as elected councillor myself. My experience in the advice sector ensuring residents can access help when they’re most vulnerable has prepared me well. Together, we’re a strong team, willing and able to help our residents.

Noel Park

Cllr Peray Ahmet

I’m the daughter of Turkish Cypriot immigrants and was born, raised and educated in Wood Green. This has always been my community; I cannot imagine living anywhere else. It’s a privilege to be Councillor in the place I’ve always called home, let alone Leader of the Council. Noel Park has a wonderful, vibrant community spirit and I’m putting myself forward to once again represent and advocate for the area and all the brilliant people who live here. So much has been achieved over the past 11 years. Thank you for joining us on the journey, but the journey isn’t over yet.

Cllr Emine Ibrahim

Growing up on Farrant Avenue, the security of our council home allowed myself and my Cypriot immigrant family to thrive. I’ve worked in the Haringey voluntary sector, local government and I’m a full time union representative. As a Labour councillor, I’m proud of my key role in delivering new council homes in our borough. Children waiting in temporary accommodation can now have the security I had. We’ve won our fight to bring homes on estates up to standard, with thousands now being upgraded. We’re holding bad landlords to account, and are strengthening renter’s rights. Everyone deserves a home.

Menha Zola

Noel Park has been my home for over 30 years; its vibrant energy, greenery, and diverse cultures make it one of a kind. I know the ward deeply, and I want to stand up and advocate for all who rely on our services. Through my role at Healthwatch Haringey, I look at how services function and how residents’ experiences shape them. My approach to the role of Councillor would be to keep residents at the centre, challenging where things fall short, and working to drive improvements that reflect people’s needs. Fairness, community, and respect are the values that drive me.

Northumberland Park

Cllr Kaushika Amin

As a Tottenham resident of over 40 years, I’ve lived across our community and raised my children here. This community has shaped my family’s life and I care deeply about its future. My priorities are clear: providing safe and affordable homes; planting trees and improving green spaces; strengthening road safety and reducing dangerous traffic; ensuring cleaner streets; and championing investment in the schools and essential services that have long supported families in Tottenham. Together with residents, community groups and local businesses, I’d be honoured to keep committing my work to shaping our ward’s future.

Cllr John Bevan

I’m an experienced Northumberland Park Councillor - I know well and care deeply about our community. I regularly attend residents’ meetings, walk the area to identify issues, and hold surgeries at the Resource Centre on Park Lane. I also volunteer with local park friends’ groups. I’m Vice Chair of both the Planning and Pension Committees, and sit on the Housing Scrutiny Panel. A trustee of Haringey Sixth Form College, I’m committed to supporting young people. I work closely with neighbourhood police to tackle all resident concerns, from housing challenges to ASB, and planning concerns. I’d value your vote to continue improving our Tottenham.

Cllr Ajda Ovat

My Councillor focus has been listening to residents and improving Northumberland Park.
As Cabinet Member for Communities, I’ve co-designed new plans for the station including better Spurs event co-ordination. I’ve been involved in the Clear, Hold, Build initiative to reduce crime and boost safety. Labour’s values of equality, fairness, and social justice are my values. Working with local residents we’ve achieved closure orders on problem estates, delivered Willoughby Lane’s zebra crossing and added ‘unsuitable for HGVs’ signage. We’ve enhanced our green areas, Somerford Grove and Hartington Park. I’m determined to keep driving progress.

Seven Sisters

Cllr Barbara Blake

As councillor in Seven Sisters for four years, I’d cherish the opportunity to continue representing residents’ voices to the best of my ability. Our community should have access to high quality services and I’ll ensure our ward receives the necessary funding to implement improvements. My priorities include street cleanliness and condition, housing, personal safety, GP surgeries, the environment and green spaces. We should not accept an east/west divide; from the most privileged to the least, I believe in equality for all. I want to work alongside you to amplify your voice and achieve our shared goals.

Cllr Michelle Simmons-Safo

I began as Councillor for Seven Sisters Ward in 2022 and it’s been a privilege to serve the ward I call home. I’m a professional social worker with 30 years’ service in mental health services across Adults and Children Services. I’ve witnessed first-hand the deprivation and social inequalities endured by marginalised communities. I’m dedicated to my work and hold regular surgeries, acting swiftly on casework issues. With Councillor Barbara Blake we successfully obtained £150K for a new playground in Paignton Park. I attend local events and I’m committed to advocate for our community, environment and standard of living.

South Tottenham

Cllr Mark Grosskopf

Listening to residents is key, so I hold regular monthly surgeries. We’re able to resolve issues by fighting for investment in South Tottenham. We’ve secured £250,000 to resolve the longstanding flooding on Markfield Road and £25,000 for a community garden. I’m committed to bringing our communities together to celebrate events like Eid and Purim. Safety is essential for this harmony. That’s why we helped transform a crime hotspot into a space where local children grow vegetables. The council also installed bollards in two busy roads, protecting pedestrians. I’m proud to champion South Tottenham’s diverse communities.

Cllr Makbule Gunes

Living in Tottenham since 1997, I’ve spent three terms as a Councillor. I’m dedicated to local residents and committed to equality and social justice. I’ve relentlessly advocated for better services for our residents. Our Haringey Labour Council has built over 1,300 council homes and is modernising existing houses. We’re investing in local parks and improving children’s play areas. As a committed trade union member, I’ll continue to fight for better job protections, and as a Co-operative Party member, I’ll always advocate for food justice as a basic human right. I’m determined to continue improving residents’ quality of life.

Cllr Anna Lawton

As a councillor I’ve worked tirelessly to represent residents, playing my part to improve our borough. I’ve supported residents to set up their first residents association, campaigned successfully for local park funding, organised ward wide weeks of action, increased street cleaning, co-ordinated police meetings to crack down on local ASB; and so much more. In the last few years I’ve taken on a varied number of roles, including charity trustee, chair of the maternity and neonatal voice partnership at the Whittington, and being elected chair of our Children and Young People scrutiny panel.

St Ann’s

Amit Kamal

The strong track record Vanessa and I share is something I really value. We consistently peel back the council red tape, working constructively with other councillors and council officers to improve St Ann’s. We ensure that residents’ concerns are heard and addressed. I’m a local resident with children at Chestnuts Primary School. I’m standing as I believe in the importance of committed, practical, and effective local representation, rooted in Labour values. We know that the only way of achieving change is to have a voice at the table. Vanessa and I will be that strong voice for you in St Ann’s.

Vanessa Heron-Hua

Like many young people, I’ve watched national governments struggle with huge challenges. At times, I’ve felt powerless, as though decline is inevitable - but it does not have to be. I’m deeply involved in my trade union as a representative and officer. Locally, I’ve gained an indefatigable drive to help us realise our shared ambitions: decent, affordable housing; strong local communities; high-quality public services; and a recognised workforce with the power to make demands of management. I hope to build on the skills and experience I’ve gained as an activist and organiser to improve the lives of everyone.

Stroud Green

Cllr George Dunstall

As the Chief Executive at a local homelessness charity in Haringey, I help provide resettlement services for vulnerable people across London. As a Haringey councillor over the last four years, I’ve gained skills and knowledge that I will continue to put to good use. It’s a privilege to serve our community and support some of the most marginalised across our borough. I’m passionate about our community and I’m more ready than ever to continue making positive change.

James Hand

I care deeply about our Stroud Green community and I want to give back by providing a fairer, more equal Haringey for all. Building on the progress already made, I want to focus on local issues in a hands-on manner: safe neighbourhoods, strong local services, protecting our environment, and supporting the businesses that keep Stroud Green thriving. Improving public services and strengthening planning for stronger outcomes has been the focal point of my career, shaping the councillor I want to be: transparent, a listener and a pragmatic problem solver.

Navdeep Kaur

I’m standing to be a strong voice for residents, as I want to help our local community as best I can by ensuring their concerns shape local decisions. I live next door in Crouch End with my husband and two children, who attend local schools. I’ve heard residents’ concerns about housing, crime, anti-social behaviour, and green spaces and parks. I will strive to tackle these issues, and I will work hard to address inequality and improve living standards for Stroud Green. Residents deserve to feel safe and proud of our diverse and wonderful community.

Tottenham Central

Funmi Abari

I am a doctor and GP trainee, born and raised here, shaped by my heritage and strengthened by my faith. Tottenham is where I learned to fight for my community, for dignity, and for justice, and I have never stopped. I work at the intersection of women’s health, public health and racial inequality. I understand how poor housing, unsafe streets and limited access to services shape people’s health long before they reach a clinic. I have supported international medical aid, education and emergency relief from the UK to Gambia and Gaza.

Zak Ivany

I’ve lived in Tottenham since 2020 - for three years on West Green Road and for two years off Lawrence Road. As a private renter I moved three times in five years. I’m standing for Haringey Labour as I support tougher protections for private renters through the Landlord Licensing Scheme, and building 3,000 new council houses in the borough by 2031. I pledge to listen to and act on issues all year round, not simply at election time, and be a champion for Tottenham Central. Aside from this election, I work in community engagement for clean energy projects and am a member of GMB trade union.

Cllr Matthew White

I’ve lived in Tottenham since 2001 and represented our home since 2018. I wanted to help make this amazing, diverse, exciting place even better. I’m proud to be part of a Labour team that is building high-quality social homes, investing in parks and building a fairer, greener Haringey. We are committed to listening to residents and working alongside them. I’m regularly out on the doorstep locally, talking to residents, listening to what you say we’re doing well and where we can improve. Your feedback helps us make services better for you and focus our resources where they work best.

Tottenham Hale

Sarah Carson

I’ve lived in Tottenham for six years, and I’ve always worked as a campaigner in charities. I believe in amplifying people’s voices to tackle inequality and the issues we all care about. Safer roads, clean streets, affordable homes, and the right improvements in Down Lane Park at the heart of the community. I’ll continue working hard with Ruth and Stephen to keep relentlessly pushing for this with you. Having a Labour Government growing up gave me opportunities. I’ll be a champion for children and young people in Tottenham Hale, and the many local groups doing incredible work supporting them.

Cllr Ruth Gordon

I’ve had the privilege of overseeing Down Lane Park’s transformative £7m council investment. Co-designing improvements with residents and establishing local priorities was essential, and I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together. Haringey Labour has built more than 700 sustainable and beautiful council homes at Council rent in Tottenham Hale, and we’re determined to build more. Tackling fly-tipping, reducing pollution and increasing street safety are among your local priorities that we’ll focus on. As a team, we’re committed to keep making improvements and to serve the residents of Tottenham Hale.

Stephen Tawiah

I support residents facing unfairness every day. Through my work as a human rights barrister, a trustee for the Bernie Grant Trust and at Citizens Advice Haringey, I know we achieve more when residents, volunteers and councillors work together. My involvement locally has shown me the strength of our community; I believe that fairness and opportunity is what Tottenham Hale needs. I’ll work hard for our residents’ dignity, and to champion our community. Our ward’s uniqueness matters to me. Raised and educated in Tottenham, I know our area’s challenges and potential; I’m committed to meaningful change.

West Green

Cllr Seema Chandwani

I’ve gone from pupil at West Green Primary School to representing West Green Ward. It’s been a privilege. We’re fortunate to live in a borough where all residents regardless of race, religion, gender or sexuality live alongside each other. Our community spirit in West Green is strong and it’s been an honour to work with so many residents who help each other. I’ve supported over 800 residents through casework. West Green deserves to be clean and safe, so I work closely with residents, police and faith organisations. If re-elected I will continue to serve our community.

Sami Ngoie

Haringey has been my home for more than 30 years. I’ve seen first-hand the strong sense of community that brings people together here. Through my work supporting autistic children and young people, I see every day how important patience, understanding and the right support can be in helping people thrive. Those experiences shape the way I approach community engagement, listening to residents, supporting local services and helping keep West Green a welcoming and thriving place for everyone who lives here. Fairness, community and respect are the values that guide me.

Cllr Sarah Williams

Living in West Green, I’ve raised my family here and served as a governor at Park View School. As a musician and trade unionist, I’m passionate about putting the arts at the centre of the curriculum, ensuring artists receive the support they need. As Deputy Leader of Haringey Labour, I’m especially proud of our ambitious Council House building programme, which has built over 1000 genuinely affordable homes for local people. West Green is blessed with beautiful parks and I’m excited about the plans for new playgrounds and tree planting. Together, we can make West Green an even better place to live.

White Hart Lane

Beverley Berrick

As a resident of almost 40 years with an allotment on De Quincey Road, I’m frequently out and about White Hart Lane. I raised a family here, and I worked supporting parents of excluded school children. I’m Assistant Branch Secretary for Schools in Barnet Unison and have 15 years’ experience in managing casework in Family Services, problem solving, sign posting and advocating. I’ve strong negotiating skills that I’d use to be a strong voice for White Hart Lane. I’d love the chance to use my experience and passion for being a voice for those who are less heard, to serve our community.

Cllr Ahmed Mahbub

Tough times demand experienced leadership and that’s why I’m standing again, to use every bit of my local knowledge to deliver more funding for our green spaces, safer roads and streets for our families. My pragmatic leadership delivers for our community. I was born here. I grew up here and since 2022, I’ve served as White Hart Lane Councillor, as a recent Mayor and former Chair of the Pensions Board. The economic challenges ahead are real but we’ve achieved change together. Let’s finish what we started, we can build a White Hart Lane that keeps excelling for our community.

Ishaq Pathan

White Hart Lane’s diverse and welcoming communities deserve safety and economic growth. I co-founded a local Community Centre in Tottenham. I’ve seen how strong Labour-led Haringey Council services improve lives. I want to build on that, with even more investment in social housing, green spaces, and fair economic chances for all. Haringey’s diversity is its greatest strength - I want to nurture it. I’m running to ensure the council reflects every community it serves. I’m dedicated to building trust and working with residents. Together, we can keep White Hart Lane a place where all feel heard and represented.

Woodside

Hasret Bozdogan

I grew up in Haringey and it shaped who I am. Coming from a Kurdish Alevi background, I learned early what it feels like to be unheard. I’m determined that every resident has someone who will stand up for them. Through working at the Alevi Centre, I’ve supported people with housing, family and personal challenges. I’m someone others can rely on. As I’ve lived here most of my life, I understand the issues people deal with every day. If elected, I’ll be a visible councillor who listens and takes action. I want to serve, and give back to our community.

Cllr Lucia das Neves

It’s been a privilege to be your councillor. I’ve stood up for our green spaces, worked to tackle anti-social behaviour, pushed for improvements to landlord‑owned properties, and fought for better parking, housing, care, and road safety. As a cabinet member, I’ve led Haringey’s award-winning gambling harms work, influencing the government and becoming the first borough to join the Coalition to End Gambling Advertising. I’ve overseen the opening of our mental health hub, Canning Crescent’s Roger Sylvester Centre, and we now have regular wellbeing walks and new school streets. Together, let’s make Woodside the best it can be.

Cllr Thayahlan Iyngkaran

As your Woodside councilor, I’ve delivered on your priorities. Together with Haringey’s Labour Council, we’ve delivered a new children’s playground in Woodside Park, with another £350k being invested in WHL recreation. Along Perth Road and nearby streets, we’ve worked with residents to co-design traffic calming measures and make our roads safer. And on ASB, we’ve teamed up with local people, council officers, and the police to tackle problems on Lordship Lane and make our streets safer for our community. There is much more to do, and I want to be that person representing your voice.
